    "Grass changes to..."

    花 means "flower".

    For example...

    花火（hanabi）：fire works
    花瓶（kabin）：vase
    花見（hanami）：hanami
    (to enjoy seeing cherry trees)

    This kanji is often used for girls' names, too. (^ ^)
