I'm not sure if you could see the small difference between these 2 kanji with such a small font though... 貝 is different from 見. Yes, 見 means "to see, watch". But 貝 means "money". Actually, by itself, 貝 means shell. Long time a go, people used shell as money, so we became using 貝 for describing money in kanji.

For example...
貧血 (hinketsu) : anemia
極貧 (gokuhin) : very poor

Yes, 金 is kanji for "money, gold, friday".
For example...
大金 (taikin) : a lot of money
お金 (okane) : money
金 (kin) : gold
But 貝 is often used to describe "money" as a radical.
It means that 貝 is often used to describe "money" in other kanji.
